Serial expat, my wandering has taking me half around the globe. My first move was as a little girl when we left Denmark and moved to South of France. I grew up in a small village, overlooking valleys of vineyards, pine trees and olive orchards. As a had my ‘Baccalauréat dans la poche’ (graduated from high school), it took me a couple of years to decide what I want to do. Meanwhile I travelled a bit and tried out the French Universities – not much success there.
Here is a view of the village where I grew up.
I moved to Switzerland and studied Hotel Management, met my now-husband. Moved to LA, moved back to France, to Paris this time, then England a few years later. We finally got married and had our first little baby – a girl, aka Kiddos 1. We moved to Jordan and got baby number 2, a little boy, aka Kiddos 2. Bali, Indonesia was next for 2 years followed by 2 and a half years in the Maldives. And that brings us where we are today. Mauritius, my husband’s home country. For how long? only the future will tell.
I hope you enjoy my blog. I try to keep it simple and joyful. Please leave me comments, nice once, I really like those.
