Friendship

Sometimes life throws things at you and you get stuck, not being able to wish someone their birthday or being there to celebrate a special day.

Well, I have a very special person in my life. A bubbely, lively, lovely and funny friend. She happens also to be a great DJ, a performer and humanitarian. A selfless person who does so much for the people she cares about as well as people she doesn’t even know.

Today I went to see her at Lux Grand Gaube – a beautiful hotel located on the Northern coast of the island.

She treated me to lunch and cake and Chardonnay and talks on the beach. She leaves for Greece to work with Syrian war refugee children next week and I will miss her very much. Our gipsy lifes also means we don’t know when our paths will cross. In a not too distant future, I hope.

Thank you for a fabulous afternoon and till we meet again, my friend.
